“Benjamin” / Benji/ Benny has been a rock solid testament to our program. He started easy, he retains and is smart, and is just a really neat horse. Benji has been rode in the arena and will sit down on his ass to stop, he’s been out in the mountains packing, he’s been out in the mountains moving cattle, and most recently he’s been at a feedlot checking health, working gates, and doctoring is finally added to his resume! Benji was asked in 2026 to be used for the drill team for the Red Lodge Rodeo and he got gold stars across the board! He carried a flag and stayed in line and never missed a beat, we are SO proud of him!!!
He’s easy to be around, good with mares and geldings, respects barbed and hot fence, he’s easy to catch. He has been hobbled but he’s not a pro at it. Serious inquiries only, he’s UTD on shots and wormer and just had his dental in November 2025. He has 1 blemish on the hind pastern, it has not affected him, it’s just cosmetic and has not affected him at all. (They don’t know how he sustained the injury but again it’s never bothered him)
