MT Dollar - SOLD

$5,000.00

Dollar sold to Montana

May 2022 Gelding

Sire: AQHA Sagewood Star

Dam: Grade Strawberry Roan Brabant

We’ve owned Dollar since a weanling back in Oct 2022 from reputable breeders in the area. He’s out of a Brabant mare and by Sagewood Star AQHA stud. Dollar was bred and raised by Justin and Kristy Myhre in Custer MT.

Dollar is the perfect mix of draft and QH with his agility and demeanor. He’s been broke since day 1, easily halter broke, always easy to catch, and always willing to learn. He was started this year with absolutely no buck, and has been taking the bit better each ride. He saddles quiet at the trailer, hasn’t had any sign of spookiness to anything, he lunges like a pro and you can step on and walk off. Hes only been rode in the round pen and corrals only due to not having the resources to get him out and about and with me being due soon, I won’t be able to keep up with him until next spring. He has walk trot and loped under saddle with no issues. He has worn a full pack saddle with 0 issues and had some weight on the panniers as well with 0 reaction. Great mountain horse, ranch horse, all around use potential horse.

Dollar is every bit of 15.2 if not 15.3, though we haven’t formally taped him, he’s got 4 hard black feet and has always been a gentleman to trim. He’ll still paw at the trailer if alone but just some baby brain stuff that he should come out of with better consistency and work. He has a clean health and coggins but will need to be redrawn for a new sale.
