Millie came to us in November 2023. She was born & raised in MT. She had been saddled prior to arriving here. Maya put a few days of ground work before the first ride was initiated. Millie was a doll to start, no vices, no buck no bolt, no bad tendencies other than some spooks here and there, normal colt stuff. On ride 10 she was hauled off property and used to move yearlings. Even riding away from the other horse, she raised a few calls here and there, but rode forward and stuck to her job with no vices. She’s been good to saddle up and no, no warm up needed. Millie is not mareish, and shes easy to catch, grain or not. She’s soft in the bridle, good with mares and geldings, and an easy keeper.
Spring 2024 Millie sustained a career ending injury, she tore out her shoulder bicep and her riding days are over for the lost part. Extremely hard hit for us as we love this mare. She was bred to Big Country in June 2024
Fast forward to April 23, 2025, Millie gave birth to a beautiful palomino filly!!! Surprise! Millie carries the cream gene! Millie is 6 panel N/N confirmed
